Kozaburo - original works
In addition to being an abstract artist, Kozaburo is related to Mads. When Kozaburo died in '98, Mads' family had the honor of inheriting all of Kozaburo's works.
Kozaburo was hugely inspired by European artists such as Gauguin, Warhol, Picasso and Basquiat, and the latter two in particular are clearly visible in his style.
Precisely because Kozaburo found so much inspiration in the European, it was his mother's great wish that his works could be allowed to live in Europe after his death. Therefore, all the works were sent from Nara to little Vestervig in Thy, where Mads' family lived.
… But there are many works. Many more than Mads' family can hang on the walls themselves. Therefore, in cooperation with Mads' mother and father, we have agreed to sell some of Kozaburo's illustrations, and we do so with great humility.
