Gyudon (donburi with beef)

    1. Onion (1/2)
    2. Spring onion (1 pc)
    3. Mirin (1 tbsp.)
    4. Sugar (1/2 tbsp.)
    5. Soy sauce (1 tbsp.)
    6. Beef like ribeye and similar. Thinly sliced ​​(175g)
    7. Short grain round rice (2 dl)
    8. Sesame seeds (1/2 tbsp)
    9. Taste-neutral oil

      Course of action

      • Cook the rice according to instructions.
      • Heat a pan and add 2 tablespoons of oil.
      • Chop the onions, put them in the pan and cook the onions until they become glassy.
      • Add the beef and fry quickly.
      • Add sugar, soy sauce and mirin and fry until the meat is browned.
      • Fry over low heat until the liquid is reduced and taste.
      • Add sesame seeds to the meat.
      • Chop the spring onion.
      • Put the rice in the bottom of the bowl and then add the meat and the chopped spring onions.

      Tip: Can be served with a poached egg, raw egg yolk or a fried egg.
