Torii gates are a big part of Japanese culture and architecture. Traditionally placed at the entrance to Shinto shrines to mark the transition from the mundane, profane world to the spiritual. It is like stepping through a sacred sphere when you step through a torii gate.

Our torii poster illustrates the actual hole in this torii gate. Whether one stands on the spiritual or non-believing side must be up to the viewer. 🔮
