This original artwork was created by the Japanese artist Kozaburo Yoshikawa, who found great inspiration in European artists such as Gauguin, Warhol, Picasso and Basquiat.

When Kozaburo passed away in 1998, the entire collection was sent from Japan to Denmark. Here, the works have been stored for many years - until the family decided that some of them should be allowed to live on in new homes.

At Seramikku, we have been honored to present a selection of these original works. Each motif exists only as a single copy - a small piece of art history from Nara, Japan, which can now find a place on a wall in a new home.
