This original artwork was created by Japanese artist Kozaburo Yoshikawa, who found great inspiration in European artists such as Gauguin, Warhol, Picasso and Basquiat .

When Kozaburo passed away in 1998, the entire collection was sent from Japan to Denmark. The works were stored there for many years – until the family decided that some of them should be allowed to live on in new homes.

At Seramikku, we have been honored to present a selection of these original works. Each motif is available in only one copy – a small piece of art history from Nara, Japan, which can now find a place on a wall in a new home.
