What is good acoustics?

The acoustics in a room are measured in reverberation time – i.e. the time it takes for a sound to die out in the room. Hard and smooth surfaces, such as brick walls and plaster, have low sound absorption and therefore extend the reverberation time. Our acoustic print, on the other hand, is made with an open surface structure, which has a high absorption coefficient. This means that they can absorb the sound effectively and shorten the reverberation time, thus resulting in a room with improved speech clarity and less noise nuisance. Our acoustic prints consist of sound-absorbing boards with a class A sound absorption, which can be described as the best on the market.

Sustainable and durable design

Our acoustic print is not only an effective choice for improving acoustics – it is also sustainable. We print directly on a 20 mm deep acoustic panel, made of mineral wool with 70% recycled glass. Mineral wool naturally has a unique sound-absorbing ability. The motif is printed directly on the plate with the latest UV printing technology, which provides a sharp print with a long shelf life - it is both waterproof, easy to clean and resistant to sunlight.

The plate's lightly structured surface absorbs sound effectively and adds a nice expression to the motif. The semi-matte finish also ensures a reflection-free print, so that light sources do not disturb the motif.

Choose the right size acoustic print

To get the best possible effect, we recommend taking the size of the room into account when choosing an acoustic print. A rule of thumb is that the acoustic prints should make up 10-20% of the floor area for optimal sound reduction. With this adjustment, a significant improvement in the room's acoustic quality can be created.
