Gyuto knife with 21 cm hammered, damascus blade in 67-layer Japanese hard steel with a 'mirror' finish. The handle is hand-carved in light magnolia wood and buffalo horn.

Like a traditional Japanese kitchen knife, it feels very light, and the center of gravity sits far back in the hand.

Gyūto (牛刀) means "meat sword" in Japanese and is similar to what is known in the West as a traditional chef's knife. Despite the name, it is a very versatile knife that can be used for meat, fish and vegetables.

With the long 21 cm blade, you really feel the knife doing the work for you when you cut in long, smooth strokes. The height of the blade makes it easy to chop and slice small vegetables with your knuckles resting on the blade to guide the knife.
This knife is the chef's go-to knife!
